Hi all,
I recently bought a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo LI1718 Notebook.
Intel celeron, 1 024 Mb RAM, 80 gig HDD, D/L DVD R/WR, and it came pre-loaded with Win Vista. I've since changed the OS from Vista to XP Pro, but I cannot get the WLAN working. Pressing the short-cut button the case has no effect (almost as though there is no built-in WLAN adapter) There are no conflicts - I can see the WLAN in device mananger. I've downloaded and tried a number of drivers (all specified for the "Atheros AR5007EG)- but without any luck. I aasume that is the correct hardware installed?
I also notice a yellow question mark next to SM Bus Controller, as well as next to High Definition Modem & Audio. I have no idea what make modem it is.
I read on one of the forums that a Power Management program could assist? Is that possible?

Some help regarding the 3 devices will be appreciated.

Cheers, Kevin
since the notebook came preloaded with vista it is quite possible that no drivers were made for the hardware. however if you insist on pressing on i would suggest one of those websites that help you find drivers for the hardware. http://www.driveragent.com for one.
